Wedding portraits
A wedding portrait made from the stories people already tell about you
The people around a couple have watched their relationship take shape from different angles. A sibling remembers the first introduction. A college friend saw the early days. A coworker noticed the small habit that says more than a grand gesture. Gathered Ink brings those separate views into one written portrait.
Who can contribute
Invite parents, siblings, wedding-party members, longtime friends, newer friends, and colleagues. People do not need an account, and those who cannot attend can contribute from wherever they are.
Ask for moments, not marriage advice
The strongest contributions begin with one real moment. Useful starting points include:
- How each person first knew the relationship was serious
- A small kindness that captures how the couple cares for each other
- A funny or revealing story from before they met
- What each person brings out in the other
More than a collection of signatures
A card collects short wishes one at a time. A Gathered Ink wedding portrait connects the details across many voices, so the couple receives a piece that feels like their shared story rather than a stack of signatures.
