Anniversary portraits
Mark the years by gathering what they meant to other people
An anniversary can mark a relationship, years of work, or another personal milestone. The most meaningful account often lives with the people who watched the commitment endure, change, and shape the lives around it.
Who can contribute
For a relationship anniversary, invite family and friends from different chapters. For a work anniversary, include colleagues from earlier teams as well as the people who work alongside them now. Personal milestones can draw from any circle that witnessed the journey.
Find the evidence inside the years
The strongest contributions begin with one real moment. Useful starting points include:
- A moment that captures what has lasted
- A change others saw over time
- A tradition or ritual that carries the story
- What this commitment made possible for other people
More than a collection of signatures
A card marks the date. A Gathered Ink portrait shows what accumulated across the years by connecting memories from people who saw different parts of them.
How it works
Choose Anniversary and name the person or people the portrait is for.
Invite people directly or send one shareable link. Contributors do not need an account.
Each person answers thoughtful prompts in their own words and at their own pace.
The host receives one written portrait shaped by the memories everyone shared.
